We offer workshops that allow us to dive deeper into a practice or topic. These run anywhere from an hour to four or five, giving the student the opportunity to practice, take notes and ask questions. Some past workshops have included: Singing Bowl healing, Hip anatomy and movement, QiGong, Non-violent Communication, Using Yoga for Trauma Recovery, Partner Yoga and more.
Mettā is a practice of inviting kindness in all of our affairs; embodying kindness in our actions, words and intentions.
Kindness is a muscle that requires training and development.
Kindness is forgiving and forgiveness demands practice.
In this workshop, we will exercise our Mettā muscles so we know what kindness feels like in our flesh and bones.

We will practice it in our breath so that it is always present in our words.
We will practice kindness in our thoughts so that perhaps we will arrest an act of hostility before it is born in our minds.
We are worthy of Mettā for ourselves. The world needs us to cultivate it, to receive it and share it – with friends and foes. Our spirit craves it for inner peace.

Just B Yoga and the Grand Rapids Yoga Company are teaming up again for a Soundbath Yoga healing experience. Do some fall energetic house cleaning with this yoga class and sound immersion.
This yoga class will travel through the energetic centers – chakras – with specific postures and breath and sound waves geared toward cleansing and balancing each.
The class will close with a sound wash meditation with crystals and wave drums.

Explore inversions – The Upside Down – with safety and patience. This 4-week intensive will break down physical aspects of various inversions – shoulder stand, head stand, hand stands – progressively.
Each week we will work on preparatory poses and meditations to prepare mind and body for flipping our view and understanding of upside down poses.
This is a progressive workshop. Attendance to all four sessions is encouraged, but drop-ins welcome.
